Women are non-consequential in Muslim countries and not just by the poor and ignorant.

Sending women as diplomats to these countries is a futile effort to educate or modify their culture and in many cases is considered an insult.

Remember how Saddam Hussein treated the diplomacy of our female ambassador over the Kuwait issue before he invaded?

Having Hillary Clinton make a half-hearted speech of conciliation on the current riots is probably received with contempt for a weak America.
