If you read the article you would find it said that embassy was a new one and it takes a few years to get a marine embassy group there. It also mentions private contractors for security. Suppose they use that kind until the marine group is there. Don’t know if the private contractors were actually there.

This story will destroy obama... it will not be a fast breaking deal... just look at how the truth is coming out slowly but at a steady pace... hard hit after hard hit... followed by a denial followed by more hard evidence... then a parsing of words and another “clarification” from obama about what we were too stupid to understand that he was saying. He has lied so much for all of his life that he can't keep his lies straight. This embassy and consulate are in freaking Libya which just overthrew a dictator. It was not in Switzerland! I don’t care how long it normally takes to get Marine guards in place, this is not a normal situation! Especially for the anniversary of 9/11, get some well armed Marines there for protection on the double! It was just so stupid and needless for the Ambassador and the other Americans to have to die because of the ineptitude of this administration! What a disgrace!
