DID THEY ACTUALLY LINE UP THE HEARSES WITH BODIES IN THEM AND THEN HOLD A NEWS CONFERENCE IN FRONT OF THEM???

They carries the bodies off of the airplane and put the caskets on pedestals by each hearse. The SOS and 0 gave a mixture of eulogy and policy statements (completely inappropriate), then the caskets were put into the hearses by the Marines with much grace and dignity.
