Apologies to the mod, who I may have ticked off by posting the same link on different threads (Dinesh D’souza explaining how Zero is anti-American).
I appreciate your view that the “ceremony” was respectful, but IMHO (an opinion apparently shared by many others), the fact that Zero and the media were there together was extremely disrespectful.
I’d ask you to reconsider the sensitivities of the families who’ve lost their loved ones. If it were my son that was KIA due to the ineptness of Zero and Shillery, I wouldn’t want ‘em use his body as a photo op, which is all it was. If it wasn’t that, then why not the subdued, dignified, family-only, press-free ceremonies that usually occur for our Fallen Angels? Andrews being closer than Dover to the White House is just more proof of it being a photo op. The press simply being there at all is proof enough of it being a photo-op.
