Mitt went wobbly on us.
THERE, Romney, you can use that line next time you feel the need to put a foot in your mouth!
I wonder who Mitt Romney will vote for...for President. He seems to be one of the undecided.
no he doesn’t!!!
Obie exudes “please punch my face” arrogance.
Wish he wouldn’t say stuff like that.
I just hope that he has a reason to say this, and isn’t just being a wimp.
Obama never struck me as being “likable.”
do you think they’ll be nice to you now, Mittens?
nope
"Exuding an air of likability and friendliness", while at the same time acting in a manner that is destructive (passionate support for partial birth abortion; support of sodomite lifestyles; use of race and class warfare; hatred of American history and the Constitution; etc) - just makes him deceptive - but doesn't change his stripes (or scales, as the case may be)...
He’s a likable guy but just hasn’t done the job very well.
Yeah, that’s going to get the voters to remove a sitting president.
/sarc
Romney is planning to beat a snake with a wet noodle.
Pol Pot was likeable. Hitler had his affable moments too, as did Mussolini, Mao and Stalin. But it doesn’t make them nice people.
Mitt... knock that sh*t off. Now.
That may be so, but Romney doesn't have to continually plant that reminder into everyone's heads.
Poor Romney, he’s lived in a “Leave it Beaver World” all his life and thinks everyone is good. Too bad he didn’t serve time in the military he would prove to be a better judge of character. There is nothing likable about a man that is destroying America. Romney quit kissing his @$$ and start taking it to him!
Remember we’re seeing the WaPo snippets and spin.
Stephy’s whole line of questioning was: polls show Obama’s likable, people like obama, people what to have dinner with obama...
Romney’s response was to focus on his poor job as president. I thought it was the right way to handle it.
Frankly, Romney had to say this because he wants to make the election about Obama’s performance, not his personality.
Kind of like the “you’re a nice guy, but...” speech us gentlemen endure from girls we liked but who didn’t like us.
This statement phases me not a whit - and I’m not a particularly effervescent Romney supporter.
Likeability, friendliness, charm....so did Ted Bundy. Gavin de Becker says that “niceness” is not a character trait, it is a tactic. They should not be having a “who is nice/charming” contest. We are not trying to find a friend or a love interest. We are looking for someone to repair our plumbing and you don’t choose the inept but friendly and charming one.
Good grief. He didn't bring it up. Stephy's whole line of questioning was focused on it. This WaPo article is an Obama PR piece on it. It's time we quite being manipulated by these media.
OMG. He’s channeling McCain. We’re dooooomed.
Enough with the Likeability stuff already, Mitt.Tell them that this is not the Miss America contest and try calling him the most liberal President in the last 100 years the next time you are asked if he is likeable. We are in trouble because he is the most liberal President and last time I looked likeability is not on the menu of options in solving an economic crisis.
