The film was not “U.S. made” as the Islamic world would understand the phrase.

Reuters is disgusting.

This movie was made by a criminal nutbag Coptic Christian in the USA - where it had exactly ONE screening - to an audience of less than a dozen - and that was several months ago.

What the mob was mad about was the state run media in the Middle East making the same claim Reuters is making - that this was a “U.S. made film”.

When Egypt (IIRC) made a TV show “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” it was an “Egyptian made show” in the sense that it was done with the full and direct approval and under the control of the Egyptian government.

Not so in the case of this otherwise OBSCURE and poorly made ‘Mohammad porn’ video.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Egyptian television soon showed “Jud Suss”, and claim in to be a true story.
