Was there ever any direct or indirect public harm proven by the corrupt, criminal ABCNews and the left-wing Diane Sawyer idiot?
Popcorn?
Remember the Alar “Scare.” Wasn’t that Sawyer, also?
GOOD
This is the third article I’ve seen excerpted on this lawsuit and I have yet to read just what assertions of ABC the plaintiff is claiming were false and defamatory.
Feb 1989 “60 Minutes”, according to this article:
http://www.organicconsumers.org/articles/article_20050.cfm
And then Meryl Streep jumped into it, causing a nationwide hubbub-a-loo.
We also found out that our big local market had pink slime in their handburg.....and I believe they still do.
I now pick out a cheap cut of beef and have them grind it.
Good!
ABC would never touch what is in a hot dog.
The Joke is do you know why the USDA will not allow vegetables to be in a hot dog?
Because vegetables don’t have lips or butt holes.
What nonsense and ignorance. “Pink Slime” is very lean been which is processed in a very clean environment because the lack of fat can generate more bacteria.
It is cleaner and leaner than what you are eating.
More urban legends.
The filler is not dog food and while the price of beef is skyrocketting we have ABC to thank.
I grew up eating head cheese.
"You know, I wanted to sit on a jury once and I was taken off the jury. And the judge said to me, 'Can, you know, can you tell the truth and be fair?' And I said, 'That's what journalists do.' And everybody in the courtroom laughed. It was the most hurtful moment I think I've ever had." - Diane Sawyer, Good Morning America, 7/12/07
I also have mine ground fresh at the butcher. He’s happy to do it.
LOL! (Yuk)
I would have figured that getting in the ring and losing against Oprah back in the 90s would have made the beef industry swear off of filing suits. Now we have to put up with Dr. Phil since his career was launched then with Oprah using his counseling services during the trial.
You don’t want to see what goes into making sausages or laws.
Diane Sawyer = “journalist” = laugh-a-minute-stupid-lefty-moron.
Mmmmmmm....
If ABCNews made untrue claims about it's nutritional value, it's liable.
If ABC News simply pointed out that it's gross, it committed no crime. It is gross - but when you buy chicken McNuggets, you're buying gross on purpose.
Hot Dogs and Bologna too.
Ever see Scrapple? Yum!
LOL!!! That article is a laugh a minute!
I’m sure those are the same people that are flipping out about Arsenic in water too!
Look, I thought as you do until the “Pink Slime” scare came to FR. A butcher weighed in and said that this has been done FOREVER in the meat industry. There is still good meat left on a carcass after the steaks, chops and loins are removed. Pieces that are way too small to sell outright. Even too small or thin to become good looking burger.
Guess what it becomes?
