One of the Americans killed alongside Ambassador Christopher Stevens in an attack on a U.S. diplomatic mission in Libya Tuesday told ABC News before his death that he was working with the State Department on an intelligence mission to round up dangerous weapons in the war-torn nation. But they do nothing about dangerous weapons in Mexico, you know that country on our southern border?

In an interview with ABC News last month, Glen Doherty, a 42-year-old former Navy SEAL who worked as a contractor with the State Department, said he personally went into the field to track down so-called MANPADS, shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles, and destroy them I smell BS. I can't believe anyone who had that assignment would tell some blabber mouth reporter.

So, who were the terrorists targeting; the career diplomat or the guy who was going to take away their toys?

Coming soon to an airport near you, MANPADS Oh no, not "soon", these things have been smuggled in to the US via Mexico for many years. DHS was giving local law enforcement seminars on how to indentify MANPAD parts shortly after 9/11. I will not fly commercial if I can help it.

“Doherty said that he traveled throughout Libya chasing reports of the weapons”
Why would he do an interview about his mission? Wouldn’t the State Department have to ok this interview?!!!

Yep, why would he blab to the media?
I thought those nondisclosure agreements were LIFELONG.
And anything remotely close to talking to ANY media was to be authorized.

They make it sound like the number of missiles were 10 or 11:
THE NUMBER IS OVER FIVE THOUSAND.
And they’re not the type easily fooled with flares.
THANK YOU HILLARY.

I think you are right. heh
Now we will hear 3 days of 24/7 media coverage about this "success" by the current administration to locate the rogue MANPADS and how Romney wouldn't have even looked for them.

If they were rounding them up in Libya, was it to send them to Syria? Seem’s like Obama has armed the entire ME, (Muslim Brotherhood).

Fox News confirms Tyrone Woods, 41, a former Navy SEAL, was one of four Americans killed -- including US Ambassador Christopher Stevens and ex-SEAL Glen Doherty -- when protesters attacked the US consulate Tuesday in Benghazi, Libya.

There is a whole lot about this "event" that is pinging my radar. First it was 2 embassy personnel and 2 Marines. Now it's not 2 Marines but 2 private contractors who were Navy SEALS?
I do have to wonder if the 2 SEALS were the target of AQ and the State Department personnel were just collateral damage.
Oh, and one other thing... there were no Marines providing any security for any of the diplomatic personnel in Benghazi?
