So, I got an e-mail from the NRSC asking me to take a survey and give them my opinions. I put my name and zip code, skipped all the questions, and left the following comments:
I am a Republican Committeewoman in Sni-A-Bar Township in Jackson County, Missouri. You failed to include our candidate, Todd Akin, on your map until you received pressure from the grassroots. Mr. Akin was not my first choice and did not have my support in the primary, but he is our candidate. I find it difficult to believe that you are dedicated to a conservative Senate when you'd turn your back on a very strong conservative because he said something he shouldn't have. I'm further frustrated that when I called about the situation, nobody would answer my question about why the decision was made to exclude Mr. Akin from your map, I was eventually sent to a voicemail box, and although I left a message, nobody returned my call. I feel you have turned your back on Mr. Akin, on Missouri, and on voters like me. If I felt you actually valued my opinion, I would've filled out your survey. I find your words hollow, however, so just as you turned your back on Mr. Akin, I am turning my back on you. Please feel free to remove me from your e-mail list.” and our numbers are growing.
