If you get Dish you don’t get ‘Breaking Bad’ or Mad Men’
They dropped AMC.
:)
Heh. I actually can't think of a single "series" I watch, which I suspect is what those are, and rarely a movie. Fact is, I don't watch much teevee at all. Chaps my butt I've got ~100 channels and there aren't a handful worth watching. If I had one of the larger packages, I'd just have more channels I wouldn't watch.
But you can get the "Hopper" record 6 channels at once and watch them in any room, and I thank 2000 hours record time, and you get Beck.
Those shows will show up on NetFlix or maybe just buy the DVD when they come out. I on the other hand still get them and Breaking Bad had a cliff hanger finale.
Roku gets Beck, but I have been longing for the "Hopper" with commercial skip. :)
You don't get "The Walking Dead", either, so Dish is not an option for us.
We've been with Directv since they took over Primestar in the late 90s. Lately we've been having constant issues with their DVR (dropouts, freezes). Their reps in India don't know how to fix it, and if they did, their English would make it hard to understand. So unless my husband can find some solution, we may go back to cable, though it's been a long time.
True, but if you get a Roku, and the Amazon Instant Video channel you can get current episodes of all your favorite AMC shows. I dropped cable and now rely on the internet, AMZ VOD, and my digital antenna to give all the entertainment I need. The best part I save lots of $$$ and filter out the network tv garbage. jmo.
