The left does not understand. They think they can "use" the Muzzies to gain power. They cannot fathom that the Muzzies will never share power with anyone. Hate rules their very being. In this case the leftist are the "useful idiots".
Individuals who are termed “Diplomatic Professionals” are really unique persons. They are all highly educated and in many case multilingual. They have studied their assignment countries like you wouldn't believe. These are dedicated people who sacrifice much in order to get these rewarding assignments.
Those posted to the entire Arab world are deeply grilled in a long line of classic “Arabist” (read: APPEASEMENT”) schools from Georgetown University to the UN. “If only we are nice and help these savages, we can reform them and bring them around to think, like us and embrace “DEMOCRACY”. They are the “experts”!
They are the USA’s “Eyes and Ears” on the ground in these volatile nations YET, American Foreign Policy is and continues to be based on FALSE ASSUMPTIONS in these regions. The very underpinnings and guiding force of US assessment is misplaced and in many cases INACCURATE. The concept that the Arab mind thinks and functions like the Western mind is at the heart of all of our Foreign Policy objectives and our FAILURES.
This is not a racist thing to say. It is a fact born out time and time again. With all the best intentions to further a “Joan Baez Kumbaya” harmonic relationship with Arab (and Persian) nation states in order to “help” and “improve” their lot, things always BACKFIRE in our faces. Why?
One key word: MENTALITY. We fail to REALLY understand their TRUE mentality. Sure, you can speak the lingo and master many aspects of a feudalistic, tribal, primitive and violent culture but...NOT ALL PEOPLES ON THIS PLANET HAVE EVOLVED YET. They are not ready for the most basic elements of civility where Democracy is the apex of that expression.
Look how they slaughter each other as part of their routine life style! At some point in the future, the State Dept. and a whole corps of talented people will begin to comprehend the Titanic disaster in their thought. I thought it might begin to turn the tide after 9/11 but I was wrong. Wake up America, wake up the West, this is only the beginning.
This is what the Israelis and others who have to live with these scum have understood for a long time now but we refuse to listen or pay attention. We just continue to embrace this false concept regarding the entire Arab and Muslim world. Do we need more deaths, more “surprises”?
