Chicklets; that’s funny. We had an old Sears & Roebuck catalog in the BSA outhouse, after the TP ran out. Then the adults would have to make a visit into a nearby tow, to the hardware store to restock.

My dad used to tell about how in the depression, they had to use the purple tissue papers that peaches used to come packed in...hence the reason his parents had damn near 90 rolls of TP in their closets, when we cleaned out the place after their deaths
