OBAMA REPEATS HILLARY'S FALSE NARRATIVE ON DEATH OF AMBASSADOR

Obama made a brief statement this morning about the death of American Ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, and three other Americans at our Libyan consulate on yesterday. Obama's prepared remarks reflected virtually word for word an earlier statement made by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Despite a CBS News report to the contrary, Obama claimed that the Libyan security forces "fought back against the attackers." He also claimed that Libyan civilians attempted to aid Ambassador Stevens by transporting him to the hospital:

Libyan security personnel fought back against the attackers alongside Americans. Libyans helped some of our diplomats find safety, and they carried Ambassador Stevens’s body to the hospital, where we tragically learned that he had died.

Photographic images told a different story of the crowd's conduct, however.

Do these pictures look like they are trying to help him?

The top one seems like someone could be trying to get him out of harms way but the bottom one, why would someone be carrier slung across a shoulder like that? Carrying him to the hospital?

It is not unlikely though that they ambassador did have local nationals that would be freindly to him and would step into help. I am undecided on this one.

What a bunch of BS from Zero. Obviously we didn’t have nearly enough Marine guards at this embassy, considering that Libya is a very dangerous and unstable country. This looks like gross incompetence by the Obama administration, including the State Department. Dubya would have had 100 well-armed Marines guarding our ambassador and his staffers.

This is the question the press should be asking. How much longer can they spin this?
