I thought the film was by that Protestant pastor in Florida who earlier attracted attention by saying he was going to burn a copy of the Koran.

Terry Jones does not sound like an "Israeli-American" name. Maybe he had it changed when he immigrated?

The film was being promoted by Jones, but was paid for by a guy out of California. I’m sure, by this time of the day, that a story is posted somewhere about him on FR. If I find one I’ll ping you.
