The US ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens, has died from smoke inhalation in an attack on the US consulate in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi, security sources have told Al Jazeera.

I was referring to the US State Department personnel. Of course, when you add it all up, a lot of host country people work in an embassy. But they are not feeling quite as isolated and vulnerable, because they can walk out the gate and go home.
