Great work!
Wise move.
This one’s for you.
In a strange political cycle, this is good news. It is clear Akin messed up. Let’s forgive him and support him. He’s way better than the alternative.
CINOs routinely insist, in displays of foot-stamping pique, that conservatives have "a responsibility to support any/all Republican candidate(s), once they've won their respective nomination." Their mulish insistence, up until now, on NOT doing likewise (re: Akin) was a particularly poisonous display of GOP-e brand hypocrisy in action.
Glad to see them (finally) butching up and deciding to act like grownups, just this once.
All they have to do is air ads of the Dems booing God to fend off Akin’s soundbites.
The most obvious thing to take away from this is that it’s so easy for conservatives to fall into the trap of political correctness.
Akin didn’t really say anything that should have caused a media storm.
Next time the left tries to intimidate supporters of a good conservative candidate, the GOP leadership should immediately denounce it, stand behind the candidate and open up funding for him full force.
Great news
I still think he is selfish and rather stupid, but it’s pretty clear the GOP smells blood in the water and sees a shot at not only getting the Senate but possibly, just possibly, crawling up to 60. I know, that would take a couple of miracles in FL, ME, and probably MD.
when you have a wounded soldier, you pick him up, bandage him, get him back up on his feet so he can fight again.
we do not shoot our wounded. if gaffes excludes you, why is biden still vp?
or obozo for that matter. 57 states? three letter words that are actually four?
give me a break. we should support akin and get rid of that wench.
blessings, bobo
Hope Sarah Palin sees the light and comes out in support
Good news if true.
Sen Mike Lee (R-UT) was just on with Mark Levin he did not sound optimistic about the Senate.
Why is Missouri a paler shade of blue verses other blue states?????
This Missouri resident is going to send Todd Akin another small donation right now.
I’m wondering what the heck is going on with the major polling organizations. It has been close to two weeks with no follow up polls on the Missouri senate race.
Minor polls and partisan polls show Akin regaining much or all of his lost ground, but they are too unreliable to say for sure. What is needed is a Rasmussen poll, either evenly weighted between the two parties, or equally weighted then adjusted by the number of likely voters for each party.
What this means is that Clare McCaskill is so unpopular that even the inept Todd Akin has a shot at defeating here. I still hope that Akin quits the race.
The NRSC finally got some brain...their boycott of Akin was sure to cost them conservative donations and votes
It was just more than Missouri conservatives and Christian leaders sticking up for Akin. A few leaders down here in Florida let the state GOP here, and the national GOP, know that they were going to ask their folks to hold back on money and support
There are a lot of PhonyCons who need to start apologizing, and start forgiving...and start supporting
I still don’t think anyone should donate to the party itself. Infested with RINO’s
A very wise move —
