The USAtoday.com article downplays it and calling it a mob attack and not terrorist attack, which happened to have rocket propelled grenades that were fired on the embassy and caused it to burn

But if two rednecks in a 58 dodge pickup where to point a gun out the window at a guy wearing a tablecloth on his head, now THAT would be a terrorist attack USA Today would be all over!

I forget which source of one of the embassy attacks I read, but they made clear the majority of the muslim "protesters" were ultra conservative to throw that in there.
