Anybody know if the Washington Post is pushing the macaca issue against Allen? Or are they letting bygones be bygones????

I haven't seen it - but I don't pay too much attention to the WaPo. The real problem was his campaign manager last time around. He was from Colorado and running a pre-presidential senate race and really p!ssed of the WaPo instead of working the macaca issue out (left nasty phone messages, etc.). With him gone, Allen's name, and a good integrated ground force with the R&R and Congressional campaigns, Allen is doing okay this time.

Personally he was my fourth choice, but he is far better than Timmy.

I haven’t heard of it. I doubt theyll make much hay of it. Not because they don’t want to but because that sort of thing has a nasty way of backfiring here. The culture is such that it would be considered rude.
