“Once pot is legal, and the seeds are being scattered everywhere, and the plants grown everywhere” and “If you have ever had a persistent problem with unwanted pot plants popping up, then you know what legalization will result in, plants will be everywhere.” ansel12
I was pointing out that such (where it is possible) would result in a vastly inferior final product.
So in places where pot can (and does) grow wild - where “seeds (are) being scattered everywhere” and “plants will be everywhere” - it will be almost impossible to grow a decent smokable product.
California does produce good pot in abundance - it is a major cash crop.
Pot cannot grow wild in California - it is far too dry. Pot wants a tropical climate - but will grow wild anywhere there is sufficient heat and moisture (the aforementioned Alabama dirtweed). California has the heat - but is far too dry for it to ever grow wild.
If it DID grow wild - it would be a detriment to growing sellable/smokeable/useful female buds - they would be full of useless seeds.
The most boring thing about the drug threads is having to explain every little thing.
I only meant to illustrate that pot is an easy plant to grow, and that anyone with the slightest interest in having free pot forever instead of paying $1000.00 an ounce, would.
By the way, I have witnessed pot growing wild in California, so it definitely can.
I live in California.
