US Embassy-Cairo

Excuse me while I hunker down in this basement. The good news is we are going to get our Egyptian allies that submarine, somehow. That billion dollars in new aid will help. Oh, there goes the flag, up in flames... Anyway, since it's 9/11 I thought I would remind my fellow Americans not to hurt the Muslims feelings... *window breaks*... because Americans are racist of course. We all know that Islam is the religion of peace, that black flag raised at our embassy is a symbol of that...

*transmission lost*

I would ask all Christians, Jews, and freedom-loving people everywhere to take 45 minutes to watch this extraordinary teaching on the history of Islam by Dr Bill Warner entitled, “Why We Are Afraid, A 1400 Year Secret.”

Pass it along to family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, and ask them to do the same! Our only hope for our nation is through repentance in Christ and preparation through education about the most wicked movement in all of human history: Islam. God bless all who love the truth!

This WSJ article seems to have more detail and a better description. It has a slideshow of 11 pictures of the incident...

Ah, the radical left and Islam, perfect together...notice the Guy Faulkes anarchist mask at the back of the line.

If Obama gets reelected, we’ll probably see this happening at the White House in the next four years - and Obama will be opening the door to let them in.

And then he’ll leave to live large in his beach house in Hawaii while Moochelle soaks up the sun somewhere far away and his unfortunate children do something bizarre but unreported by the press.

However, once we’re under the thumb of Islam, the press won’t matter anyway - and most of them will be dead. But the poor fools don’t realize this yet.

The Liberal’s arab spring has sprung. Better to happen under Obammy; the one who pushed and organized it into power. Stupid Americans don’t know that “democracy” is not our system of government and is not free. They are getting a peek at majority mob rule now.

I was a MSG in Cairo. I can assure you they didn’t fire warning shots, their armament is more than .38s (we switched to .357, and then M9 + we have some other goodies for the kids stached away. Also, the Marines would not shoot unless the chancery was breeched: in this case, it was not. And the chancery (the new one) is built like a fortress. The protesters are lucky they didn’t breech the chancery: it would have turned out very bad for them.

U.S. Embassy Condemns Religious Incitement

September 11, 2012

The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others."

What kind of Orwellian language is this? Abuse the universial right of free speech? Sorry, but this an inalienable right for Americans, not a qualified one, under the Constitution.

The Embassy should be condemning the demonstrators who are going beyond free speech and destroying US property. It is one thing to disassociate the USG from the comments of an individual citizen, but it is another to suggest that someone is "abusing" their free speech rights. Or that such speech warrants or justifies the reaction of the demonstrators. Disgraceful.

Not so “universal”, eh?

Some rights are more universal than others

Too bad we didn’t watch what happened to Israel’s embassy during Obama’s SCarab spring, now what is Obama gonna do, tell Romney he’s weak on international politics? yeahhh rigggght

When I left Havana in 1997, the MSGs were still carrying .38s. I don’t know what they had in the armory but I’m sure it would be powerful enough to cause the breechers to reconsider their options. I left Teheran a couple years before the embassy was breeched. I can’t say I blame the Charge’ for having them hold their fire. The way those savages carry on, it probably would’ve turned out to be a bloodbath. Thank you for your service, Salvavida.
