Israel should just go ahead and let us know how it comes out. I don’t want any American involvement if they choose to attack 78 million people in a sovereign country. I will tell you this. WE ARE BROKE!! I say if Iran ever fires a nuke at our border ,when Russia didn’t do so, I would be very surprised. But remember this about the “doctrine of preemption” ,which is a gross violation of international law, tt works against Israel too. With all the breast beating, they just might get preempted first.
I tend to agree Mary, if Iran represents a true existential threat to Israel then Bibi should just quit whining and shut his trap and rev up the jets and the Nukes! We’ve already been drug into too many Mid-East interventions!

The difference between Israel and Iran is that Israel will attack missile sites and nuclear facilities. Tehran will nuke Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
Iran has obviously declared war against Israel many times. Remember that Iran also has missiles that can reach London and the Vatican, and no amount of cheerleading from European interests for Iran to destroy Israel will stop Iran from eventually using them.
Iran has threatened on several occasions to launch missiles on US military forces in the Middle East and has bragged about supplying weapons to the Taliban in Afghanistan. Iranian leaders have repeatedly said that attacks against the West would bring their “Mahdi.” Iran is trying to take over and control the whole Middle East anyway, so world war involving Iran is inevitable.
