Both the PPP poll, which had a sample skew and the Wenzel poll, which was agenda -driven, are suspect. I fear those polls are masking his continued weakness, so it would be good to see one more poll.

It was wrong and selfish of Akin to stay in, after blowing his lead with such a boneheaded statement, but he’s got the prerogative of a primary winner.
Akin says he’s in it to win it, so NSRC needs to suck it up and help him out. If Romney wins big in Missouri, he can probably drag Akin across the finish line.

It is wrong for the GOP establishment to try and force out one of the most conservative republicans in Congress. We have fought long and hard to get folks like Akin elected. YOU mean to tell me that MO should go along with the moderate/liberals in the GOP and stab a strong conservative? insanity! Akin apologized. He has a 100% rating by the American Conservative Union. IF Akin wins ..it won't be thanks to Romney.
