This so-called slip is much more calculated that this article claims. Jack Ryan is a Republican from the state of Illinois who was forced to withdraw from the 2004 United States Senate race due to an alleged sex scandal. Forces friendly to Obama accessed his supposed-to-be-sealed divorce records and made the information public. This is how Obama got to be state senator. He is trying to connect the two Ryans in people’s minds. Despicable.

That's how Zero got to be a federal senator from Illinois. He did something similar to grease the skids to be a senator in the Illinois legislature. (Though I don't know the details on this one!)
