If Romney doesn’t start SCORCHING the earth OBAMA stands on he deserves to lose. He needs to go negative fast. Obama has FAILED. He is not up to the job. Show the leftist extremism of the DNC. Is that what you want America? Get mean and don’t let up.
Rick Perry one single mistake of free schooling for illegals was setup upon by freepers. Never understood why conservatives eat their own during primaries and then complain the final nominee is not conservative enough.
There is a 4-5 point rally to the flag effect during the anniversary of 09-11. Like it or not the fact O was in charge when the Seals got Bin Laden is going to help him in the polls for the next week or so.
So all the Dembot "hate Romney always" Freepers and the die hard "we should of nominated candidate x" complainers might want to hold off popping the corks out of the champagne bottles just yet.
Look at all the pings I sent you yesterday.
And the last time I checked, the Bible doesn’t include a “Book of Scott Rasmussen”.
Relax.
no need to panic. I can’t believe the amount of people on this site throwing in the towel at the slightest hint of a bad poll. The communist can and will be beaten in November.
Remind me never to get into a foxhole with freepers.
WILL EVERYONE JUST RELAX, DAMMIT? Dukakis was up 16 on this very day in 1998. How did that turn out? It is NOT over. It is normal for a candidate to get a boost out of his convention, and Democrats on average get a much larger bump historically.
What makes you think that the GOP-E did not WANT to lose?
Not so much the numbers, more disappointment with how Mitt is campaigning so far.
Well said!!!
People love confidence. People loved Reagan's optimism. We're exhausted from Obama's leftwing social experiments... we want to see somebody step up to the plate who believes in himself.
There is the problem
One thing I don’t see reported much is that Obama has 100% of the “freeloader” vote.
"One thing I dont see reported much is that Obama has 100% of the freeloader vote."
We are either at the "tipping point", or we are not. I don't believe we are- I don't believe in two short years we somehow morphed from a nation that elected the Tea Party in a landslide to a freeloader society.
I'm not saying it's easy- especially with a class warfare specialist like Obama. But Obama is demolishing jobs through over-regulation and horrible policies at a record pace- most people out there want Romney to show that he's the guy that's going to turn things around (and I don't know if they real "feel" that way yet).
Relax folks, this is a 2 fold thing..
1) weekend polling which ALWAYS bounces him up a few points, and 2) Clinton Nastalgia...
I told you Obama will likely get a bump after the Clinton speech at the convention, and this is nothign but Clinton Nastalgia, nothing more, it will fade quickly.
Agreed.. I totally expected the polls to go this way after the DNC convention, with the media blowing Bill Clinton..Plus its a weekend poll which always favors the dem....Also, most people still have NOT seen the footage of the delegates booing God.
However , I do think regardless of the outcome, the country is close to being lost..When you can have a President with NO record, and such a clear radical leftist background, STILL be tied or in the lead, it tells you we have reached the tipping point.. A Romney win would just at least stave it off for 4yrs..
PSALM 37
12 The wicked plot against the righteous
and gnash their teeth at them;
13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he knows their day is coming.
14 The wicked draw the sword
and bend the bow to bring down the poor and needy,
to slay those whose ways are upright.
15 But their swords will pierce their own hearts,
and their bows will be broken.
16 Better the little that the righteous have
than the wealth of many wicked;
17 for the power of the wicked will be broken,
but the LORD upholds the righteous.
Amen ...
The main event is just starting.
