That’s sad to learn about Mr. Miller. A lot of liberals despise our country and our soldiers. Mr. Miller probably was confronted by it all because he had his picture taken and became a target of the enemy from within.

Liberals are terribly demoralizing people. They hurt Americans all the time with their festering hatred, unthoughtfulness and intolerance, but to come under their attack in war as they idolize the enemy and hate you as an American soldier and the country and constitution you are fighting for, must be really devastating.

Then, to make things worse, to find the elite and both parties have decided to declare war on terror against normal Americans, and specifically against veterns and suspend much of the constitution you fought to protect...

This is a hellish time for America. God bless and protect and heal our soldiers and their families. Deliver us from evil.

Thanks. I can really feel bad for him as well as quite a few other's in our Army, Marines, Navy, Airforce, to a degree our Coast Guard who participated in the Iraqi Stabilization and Security Operations over a long time frame.
My nephew, a two tour Marine was involved in the first Fallujah action. He was also involved in quite a few very bad, how should I say situations that developed through the whole near western, southern, and eastern areas of Baghdad between 2003 through the end of 2004.
I used to have very bad dreams and waking up in a cold sweat as I tried to kill of a few Islamist in say a dirty filthy canal where they where trying to attack say a Shiite Arab father and his little daughter.
I practically lived much of what went on in those first few years in Iraq via. this site and many other sources.
So the Marine depicted in that photo and what he and so many duty bound, with honor had to do.
Well. My heart is with so many of them.
My nephew went through some trying times. I guess I would also, if was almost blown into pieces more then once in towns like al Mamudyia, al Latifia, al Kurma, Fallujah, then switch to missions he had to go through in a humvee as a S4, Intelligence, on the more eastern shit holes south of Baghdad, for some twenty clicks or so radias, equally hostile to all American forces. Deep in the heart of the Sunni Islamic Insurgency as it formed.
So you can bet I also have a deep respect for them all.
Not being a money bag. I can at least continue to hold them all up for HIM to provide in the end game and perhaps before, HIS very best for each of them. They served with honor.
Do have a great upcoming day. The season of fall is upon us.

There are quite a few FReepers who don't believe PTSD exists.

I'd spit in reference to them, but I hold back because I understand that their own PTSD could be the reason they reject the concept, out of fear. Instead, if any of them read this, I recommend you seek help - it can be helped.
