Its complete bullsh*t that a mere two or three states, essentially, can keep the inept marxist kenyan in this race.
Oregon, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania are tossups? I don’t think so.
What alternate universe is this from??? This is UTTER crap. Romney is getting killed in the EV. Can we PLEASE stop living in fantasy land and just looking for what we want to hear and at least make SOME attempt to resurrect Conservatism??
This map is crap.
Is this from the Onion? Romney is trailing in WI, MI, OH and FL. Also PA, OR, and MN are not toss ups. They are deep blue 0bama states.
I’m surprised they put Oregon, NM and PA in the tossup side. I always thought they were going for Obama.
In fact, I had all but given up on OR and NM.
Also, why is Michigan leaning Romney? Ins’t this the UAW and the GM state? I’d expect them to lean Obama because of the GM and Chrysler bailouts.
Not sure about this map’s call but it is the correct approach in that our Presidential election is by states rather than a winner take all popular vote nationally. There will be less than a dozen swing states in which this election will be determined, imo.
I, too, hope this one is correct.

2012 is an important year to remember 9/11 because our younger generations are the most in danger of forgetting what really happened.
Or worse, our younger generations are susceptible to getting a politically correct view of 9/11. Many on the Left have tried to turn 9/11 into a day of national service or a celebration of tolerance, instead of remembering that radical jihad attacked this nation because of our western values.
Watch this moving tribute to the heroes of 9/11

Question: How can the aggregate of voters below 50 be in favor of Obama and Romney be ahead, much less by this much? There can’t be that many more 50 and above voters. Anyone know the % of population below 50 and 50 and above?
Don’t you love middle America? I’ll always love America. I graduate from law school next spring at 65. Maybe there’s something I can do to help, I hope.
Good.
It sure looks great from a “what-if” standpoint, but what data is driving the idea that PA, MN, NM, and Oregon are “tossups” and how are WI and MI “leaning GOP?” It`s fun to play with that RCP map.. I do it too, but what is giving credibility to this?
I tend to agree that most of the undecideds out there will eventually become Romney votes and that Obama's percentage of actual vote total will be <45%. Probably 55-44% or 56-43% (with the remaining 1% going to third party candidates).
We got to remember that people will LIE to the poll agencies folks so as NOT to be viewed as racist. What takes place in the voting booth is all that matters. PLUS who are going to be the folks showing up and it is those who are FED-UP with the horrible mismagement of this nation or who are dealing with what I call “buyers remorse” over voting for Obama. Otherwise many of those who have voted for Obama will simply STAY HOME.
The PACS for Romney are doing their job.
Real Clear Politics version:
Obama: 221 - Toss-up: 126 - Romney: 191
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/2012_elections_electoral_college_map.html
A ton more analysis here:
Obamao 316.9 - Romney 221.1
http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/
I’d love for these numbers to be the actual case at this point, but I don’t buy it. Romney is in pretty good shape despite the current DNC bounce for Obama, but nothing I’ve seen from Rassmussen or any other reliable polling agency that suggests he’s anywhere near this level.
It’s going to be a scrap all the way to election day, folks. I pray for a Romney/Ryan landslide, but I believe we have to be prepared for a 2004-ish nailbiter.
Obama or Romney is going to be the next President. When you spend all your time trashing Romney, you do one thing, help Obama
That may not be your intention, it is the result of your actions.
That you spend all your time actively campaigning for an pro gay marriage, pro taxpayer funded abortion on demand up to birth candidate like Obama, while bitching about Romney not being politically pure enough for you, demonstrates that you are absolutely without a single shred of intellectual credibility.
Sorry your candidate of choice did not win the GOP nomination. Quit crying about it. Your petulant attempts to trash the GOP because they did not do what YOU thought they should is childish and politically self-defeating
Obama is the worst president in history. I wish we could have Palin against him.
I would not be surprised if Romney goes over 300.
