The Huffington Post is happy: "MSNBC's Joe Scarborough offered some harsh words for Mitt Romney via Twitter on Saturday night."
"Romney will lose if he doesn't dramatically change his strategy," he said. "Negative ads won't substitute for conservative ideas."
The 'Morning Joe' host continued: "The Romney campaign is not conservative. It is just as cynical and risk-averse as Team Obama. A real conservative would be winning now."
..Scarborough also on Saturday criticized Romney for his vague policies.
"Romney has been clear he will avoid specifics on balancing the budget and shrinking government. Not the Reagan and Thatcher way," he said. "The truth is that Thatcher would have lost in 1979 and Reagan would have lost in 1980 if they had run as timid a campaign ad Mitt Romney."
He responded to critics: "Yikes. Denial has set in. Circle the wagons, ignore the storm clouds, blindly follow...Go Team Go!!"
Scarborough is a 15 minutes of fame politician who decided, like many others, that he didn’t want to work.
Dumbass... Where was he when it counted? I’ll tell you where he was...on team Romney. Joe seems to have turned on Romney after Newt and his buddy Giuliani were critical of Romney around April.
Are you confused again?
No anger here. We conservatives handed this nomination to Romney, because of our inability to unify to beat him.
The GOPe didn’t build that. We did.
He's right.
Scarborough hates conservatives. He’s the party guy who had a dead intern found in his office before he got out of Washington.
But, he’s right that progressive Mittens is screwing up. The Left is not going to vote for him so he can stop with the moderate socialist number and just put on his socialist red face on after he gets elected. His natural and real political enemy are conservatives. Its hard to pretend that you are a conservatives when you hate conservatives and it’s hard to critize a socialist when you are a socialist.
During the primaries, he came up with a clever and hopeful response about Romneycare -that it was for one small liberal state and should not be federalized and imposed on the whole Nation. Now he all Federal Mr. Romneycare. Do they not know how much Americans hate Obama’s socialist take over of medicine?
He’s looking more and more like he’s trying to lose. Americans will say to themselves, if is no difference between the two, then go with the socialist animal you know rather than the socialist animal you don’t know.
If he was smart and a really good guy, he’d take on Obama’s abuse of power. Start questioning the TSA abuse of Americans and ask why Homeland inSecurity has named vets domestic terrorists. Anything to make himself look like he beleives in the constitutional republic would help make him different with Mr. communist Executive Orders.
So has George Soros. By your "logic," that makes him a conservative, as well.
