According to the recently published account of the debt ceiling negotiations, Boehner gave him a lot, but at the last moment, like the community organizer he is, Obama grabbed for more, breaking his previous word. Who can work with a sneaky liar like that?
The Democrats lied to Reagan about cutting spending if he raised taxes. They lied to Bush 21 about cutting spending if he raised taxes. Why in the world would the GOP fall for this discredited gambit proposed by the biggest lying Democrat of them all?

IIRC, the dems promised that every new dollar in taxes would be used to cut the deficit. Instead, they spent $1.84 for every new dollar raised by the tax increase.
Obama couldn’t even manage the details of cutting the expenses he promised when he said he would cut the deficit in half, yet thinks he can and has managed the economy for the better...

Our debt problem has very little to do with not taxing the wealthy enough... It has mostly to do with GDP growth....and only 50 % of the population not paying federal taxes but instead getting tax credits...
Obama can not understand that because he only understand government and cyronism....

The infamous January 2013 “tax bomb”. Ingredients: Cancel Bush Tax Cuts, cancel payroll Holiday taxes, add ObamaCare Tax, add Obama-Generational-Wealth-Theft Tax, add the Redistribution-of-Wealth Tax.....a BOOM that is truly a BUST!
Obama can tax the “rich” until the cows come home; and even then it’ll be a drop in the bucket to his voracious appetite for TAX dollars to buy votes.
How about we cut spending first-—starting with the 45 CZARS, who are not vetted nor confirmed by Congress.
They have staffs—they have rent—they have other overhead—but we don’t have a clue where the money is coming from to pay for their adventures.
We don’t know what they are supposed to be doing, nor IF they are doing such.
They are ONLY responsible to Obama-—ONLY!!!
How come no one is asking about all this expenditure for what I consider a ‘Shadow Government”?????
I think the whole thing is downright sinister.
I want answers. I want it dismantled.
