(NH has *very* low taxes and always has).

Unless you own property there.

Other than property tax, which is oppressive, NH is relatively tax free.

I've heard that the property taxes in *some* towns is high.But even if *all* towns have high taxes the *overall* tax rate is among the lowest in the country.I've seen many lists that confirm that.

Just did a quick search of the City of Nashua website.I found a Nashua condo on coldwell bankers website that was worth about what mine is then went to the Nashua site to look up the tax.That condo's tax was about $1,000 a year higher than what I pay for mine.I bought a new car last year and paid $600 sales tax.Add in income tax and sales tax on everything else and I,at least,come out *way* ahead in NH versus in MA.
