Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick agreed a short while later in his remarks from the stage, saying, “We believe that freedom means keeping government out of our most private affairs, including out of a woman’s decision whether to keep an unwanted pregnancy.”

Excuse me, but "freedom" is not about being irresponsible because it's so easy to abort the resulting baby. A person who can't be responsible doesn't deserve freedom. Woman can easily make the decision to not get pregnant in the first place; why don't Democrats celebrate and encourage THAT freedom?

Will not be long before abortion-on-demand will become
demand-abortion. The govt will determine how many children women can have, and those who want to exercise power over their bodies by having more than the allotted number will be TAXED. Or worse yet, jailed. This is where the Democratic Party is taking us. Those who say this will never happen here are living in denial. La-La land. We all know how Vladimir Lenin described such people.
