That doesn’t assure that there wasn’t a racial motive.
You could be right. Forgive me, I am turning into a right-wing religious nut, and I’m developing a tendency to think that the motive for every crime is pure evil straight from the pit of hell. I look at something like this, and I don’t say, “it was about drugs” or “it was about prostitution,” or “it was about someone trying to leave a gang.” I just think, “They didn’t need a motive. They were just allowing Satan to run everything.”
We hear more and more of such things in this country now. And I don’t think it’s because more such crimes are being reported; I think there are more hideous events taking place.
