CHARLOTTE, N.C. One day after some Democrats shouted down attempts to re-add language affirming Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and reinsuring mention of God into the party platform, a top Democratic official said that they were booing the way the situation had been handled.

"it was an issue that was trumped up by Republicans because they have not been happy with the coverage thats coming out of our convention because it really makes their convention look like a poorly put on childs Christmas play,"

Interesting, the delegates' looks of shock, outrage, betrayal. But what did the delegates do about it? In the end, they meekly submitted, sat back down and shut up.
You want to protest the shenanigans in the DNC convention process? Walk out. They don't need your vote anyway, and never did. They'll decide what you believe. Go tour the city, hit a bar, fish in the ocean. On your way out, tell Fox news you're leaving, why you're leaving, and your seat number. Hopefully America will see your empty chair at intervals throughout the convention.
That might get the DNC to care about what you think (or am I dreaming?)

Dems are followers, not leaders - no spine or guts. I would have been surprised if they did anything other than riot or submit. They don't know any other coping strategies.

Conservatives and some Republicans still operate with the quaint notion of a shame-able conscience.
The news wouldn’t/couldn’t find a justifying interpretation, because no one can be found in the Republican side to attempt to justify the booing of a soldier, gay or otherwise.
