What about Biden, has to give up his prime-time speech slot to Clinton, after losing the 2008 Democrat nomination to Obama?
Maybe it just don’t sink in if they distract him by sitting someone in front of Biden and make him feel like someone is interested in what he has to say.

Billy Jeff Clinton is too good a politician to come right out and take a swipe at Obama like some were hoping for. Instead, he made every delegate realize how much better (through their lens) Clinton was (and is), and only emphasized their buyers remorse with Obama. The abiding memory each delegate will come away with is how great Bill Clinton was, and how Obama is a poor substitute.
Last night was also Bill Clinton’s one night to campaign against Mitt Romney and show the Kenyan who dissed his wife how it should be done. In doing so, he upstaged Obama at his own convention and that, my friends, is Clinton’s swipe at Obama.
Poor Biden. Mr. Gaffe himself. Too bad they didn’t let him up there, it would have been hilarious. lol

I just think of how positive and uplifting the RNC convention was and theirs is just all whiners and liars.
I wouldn’t worry too much about Clinton’s impact. Thanks to the start of the NFL season on NBC, most Americans were watching the Cowboys and the Giants. NBC had more than 20 million tuned into the game, more than those watching the convention on CBS, ABC and the cable news nets combined.
It would be fascinating to know if the Dims tried to convince the NFL to push back the season start by a couple of days. And I can only imagine the league’s response.

Actually the game was on Wednesday to accomodate the DNC. It ws originally scheduled for Thursday and was moved so it would not go up against Obama's speech.

I keep wishing we would have our convention AFTER theirs. Maybe, in the long run, it doesn't matter because how many of us watch the "opponents" convention. OTOH, what criteria are "undecideds" using to decide?
Reminds me of how the RNC got tricked by the DNC to have the GOP color "red" & the Dums "blue." I was just telling someone about that because I recently read an article recounting how it happened (never knew that before), but I can't find the article and regret not emailing it to myself.
