From an earlier inteview: I was hoping another one would come up I aimed right for his heart, Jones, who served in the U.S. Army Air Forces from 1941 through 1946, told The Cincinnati Enquirer. Was I scared? Was I mad? Hell no, Jones told the Enquirer."
Oops
never talk to the press after a shooting. They are not your friend. Words like that will come back to haunt you in court, should a local prosecutor chose to make his political career by hanging you out to dry: Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, by his own words he was NOT scared. He was NOT mad. Aimed right for the heart in cold blood. He hoped another would come up the stairs so that he could kill him too!

It’s probably a good thing he’s 92.
Kind of hard to make an example out of somebody who may up and die on you before you are done.
