What do you mean??? He (Romney) ALREADY has supported similar legislation ... and signed it into law in Mass. Where am I wrong on pointing this out?

A Republican Congress....the House and hopefully the Senate....will never send a gun ban bill to Romney. Won’t happen.
If, however, the rats somehow manage to regain control of Congress (God forbid) while Romney is president, then I would worry.

No, we’re not screwed. We may someday have to revolt to retain a few of our rights, but that’s been done before, too. I’ll have my weapons as long as I need them.If I happen to lose my life battling to keep them, then I won’t need ‘em any more.
I seriously doubt Romney would sign the ban back into law during a first term. The consequences with the base would be too great.
The real danger would be Sup Court picks. This is why it’s so important to take back the Senate too. If the GOP can take the Senate, then Romney would have no excuse to nominate a ‘moderate’ (i.e. liberal) in the mold of Sandra Day O’Connor or David Souter. Doing so would risk a revolt like Bush experienced with Harriet Miers.
You think Romney would be anti-Second Amendment. Maybe he would, but then again maybe he’d surprise you. With Obama there is no question or mystery. He would sign the ban if presented to him. And he will appoint a fifth anti-Second Amendment vote to the Sup Court if he gets the chance.
