But they didn't get the vote they wanted. Each vote was 50/50 or thereabouts, the last being more nays, IMO. And it needed 2/3 to pass. Villagrosa ruled it passed by fiat. That's a perfect example of how Obama has ruled these past 4 years. And, thanks for the comparison between Obamacare and this vote. You're absolutely right. The democrats don't care what the public wants. It's their way or the highway.
Precisely. The fact they had to take three votes and then rule by fiat points out their respect for “rule of the people” AND rule of law. Talking heads and blogs should be all over this!
