Almost all kids when they face a death for the first time, whether it's a pet, a family member or Just someone they know, will cry their heart out in the knowledge of how bad it is. It's a simple lesson; Life is good and death is bad.

“It’s a simple lesson; Life is good and death is bad.”
CS Lewis found death unnatural. It was not an original concept in God’s plans.

Death is a celebration; a “welcome to your eternal home”, in fact. This is not real “life”; this is but a shadow. Jesus said that our highest expression of love (marriage) doesn’t even exist in Heaven; that’s how much of a pale shade our world is.
True, death here is sad for those left behind; however, I’m teaching my kids it’s a celebration that those folks who are believers in Jesus Christ that are called home by God himself, rewarded, and told “Well done, my good and faithful servant”.
