“Transhumanism is a powerfully influential planetary ‘elite’ movement that believes man can begin a radical transfiguration of himself by merging his brain with technology with the long term goal of eventually transferring his ‘essence’ out of his decaying body and into a highly advanced robo-machine.”
Yeah, saw that on Star Trek
I am increasingly convinced that whatever the Mark of the Beast turns out to be, it will include a neural-digital interface, and it will be this that makes it impossible to repent of accepting it (no one will want to give up the full-body virtual reality) and causes damnation (no one will want to give up their sinful passions which are perpetually excited and repeatedly slaked by the device.) Not being able to buy and sell might be a result of the implementing legislation — anyone who doesn’t accept it will have to pay a confiscatory tax, so folks without the Mark won’t have any money to buy and sell — all perfectly Constitutional here in the US. (Thanks, Justice Roberts.)
Sorry folks, an RFID chip under the skin just doesn’t fit the prophecy in St. John’s Apocalypse, you can repent of getting it with a pen-knife and it doesn’t change the state of your soul.
"And, for an instant, she stared directly into those soft blue eyes and knew, with an instinctive mammalian certainty, that the exceedingly rich were no longer even remotely human."
(Which modernizes the line from F. Scott Fitzgerald, "Let me tell you about the very rich. They are different from you and me.")
Please come soon, Lord Jesus.
I saw the title and immediately thought someone was stuck on a bus going to the DNC freak show.
Y’know, with all the vicious malware, virii, trojan horses, etc., on the web, who would want a computer merged with their brain? It is dangerous enough out their for your PC, why would you want to risk your personality?
