Now they will claim that many people were confused about the venue change and went to the BoA stadium but couldn’t get to the TWC in time once they found out. Cover story if they have a low turnout at the smaller venue.

So how about a cameo pic of Eastwood standing on the field at BofA Stadium saying “Get off my lawn!” or let’s go subtle and have it captioned “and stay off!”

Consider this ... if the RATs claim that indeed they would have filled the Bank of America Stadium but have to move indoors for safety's sake, how are they going to down-select the tickets that allow entrance to the much smaller venue? That will be a Herculean task. Think of the impact of having a potential tens of thousands of ticket holders showing up at the new venue not realizing they were de-selectees. [hint: that's the excuse when they can't even scratch up 15,000 inside].

No, this move makes sense only if the total number of tickets was close to 15,000 to begin with. A key indicator to the truth or lie of a nearly full Panthers Stadium if not for the weather will be the extent of the effort to reach out to the "65,000" disappointed ones. BTW, 65,000 + 15,000 = 80,000. Is their use of the 65,000 number simply spin as to how over-sold was the outdoor venue? There's a Streisand indicator right there!

God help the law enforcement folks dealing with the cluster flop that will be crowd control at the new venue.

PS a good question for a newsie to ask is "why not rent a few alternate venues in the area and simulcast?"
