I hope to keep my finger on the pulse well enough to get a little advance notice. I live on the outskirts of a city and I intend to be a few hours away from that intersection before this scenario takes place.
If that works our for me the scenario changes. If I’m going to go fishing, I want to land a marlin. America’s decline into third-world status is deliberate. The architects of that decline will not be blocking intersections.
I don’t think a decline requires architects to engineer it. Human nature just runs its course. THis time, there is a lot more humanity, living very far from their food sources. Anything stops the deliveries, starvation and madness will follow quickly.
