I wonder how suseptible our electric grid would be to a sustained attack by Iranian/Chinese/Russian “stuxnet” type or other sophisticated viruses?

Our electrical grid has been demonstrated to be susceptible to attack by trees.

Embedded systems are harder to penetrate if not impossible, so the devices are not a worry. However, taking control of the systems would be my worry. Those control systems can command a relay to trip, etc.
