The fact is it’s done and over with and we’ve beaten this (*&#@I!! horse to death already. It’s not relevant to anything happening in NO with Isaac at this time. Nothing will compare to Katrina unless another Cat 5 blows through the Gulf. THEN we can’t say if things on all levels of the Government improved. And here’s something nobody likes to talk about; you are on your own in any disaster. This is why depending so much on big brotha’ for your existence is the worst kind of life. Did you hear about other middle class areas in other states acting up like the poor welfare riddled blacks in NO?? Nope, because they had the skills to cope and make it on their own while awaiting for some help.

Its funny how they could quickly rally transportation, food and information when their reelection was threatened. How come they couldn’t do that when their people were in danger?

Well no criticism is not perfectly fair. Isaac was a cat 1 hurricane and katrina was an unprecented cat 4 hurricane catastrophe. Of course coordination is not going to be perfect when a whole city is destroyed. The criticism of FEMA was political and overblown. The real criticism should have been leveled at the local level. In any event this wasn’t a katrina event and obama was just making cheap political points.

Compassionate decades long wars costing multiple trillions in tax dollars, bank bailouts, lawless violent borders with millions entering during war time no less, waving more Muslims into the U.S. after 911 than the previous two decades...Him not dealing well with a storm with days notice, is no surprise.
