I want you to meet my friend and fellow abortion abolitionist, 11-year-old Zoe Griffin. In a world when grown adults ignore, deny or just dont care about the abortion holocaust that has claimed over 55 Million of Zoes generation, she is willing to take a stand no matter what people think. Zoe joined her mother and friends to lay thousands of roses outside the site of the democratic convention and pray for the babies, the politicians and this generation.
While Zoe was praying, pro-abortion activists who claim to stand up for women began to belittle and scream at Zoe for her stand for life. What is so sad is that one of the women who did this to Zoe, Sunsara Taylor, is a well know anti-porn activist who claims to be against the degradation of women. I guess just not 11-year-olds who believe that women should not be dehumanized by the abortion industry. Sunsara Taylors Blog http://sunsara.blogspot.com
I could write a lot about this and how much I am sickened by what happened, but I wanted to let Zoe tell you in her own words how what happened and why she will never quit being a Stand True Activist. Praise God for young women like Zoe, she is why this is the generation who will abolish abortion.
Here is Zoes account:
Hi, Im Zoe. Something happened Friday night that a friend wanted me to blog about. I dont have Facebook or Twitter or anything like that so Im borrowing my moms page for now.
What happened was a pro-life rally. We had showed up when only 4 people were there. I guess we were supposed to get there early. As more and more people came, a car arrived. A woman came out and opened the trunk. There were 3,300 carnations in the back of that car. We started to unload and unwrap the flowers. Lily, Bella, and I started to write pro-life statements with chalk on the sidewalks when some pro-abortionists came.
They were holding signs and chanting: A babys not a baby till it comes out, thats what birthdays are all about! They were blowing whistles and jumping around acting like 5-year-old children. I was so sad that these people were so blinded I started crying. Then we started laying down the flowers all across the sidewalk. When we finished, the line of carnations was probably a mile long. A pro-life woman let me hold a crucifix that she had. I started clutching it close to my heart. My knees were shaking, so were my hands.
The pro-abortionists turned to us and started pointing at different people, saying, Youre a person! Youre a person! Fetuses are not! Then the woman saw me crying and said, You are making this girl cry with your bull____. I couldnt stand any more of those lies. They pushed it too far. In the highest-pitched voice I have ever spoken in, I screamed, THEY ARE NOT THE ONES MAKING ME CRY! YOU ARE! WITH YOUR DARK HEARTS, YOUR DARK MINDS TURNED AGAINST GOD! My mom ran over to me, put her hand on my shoulder, and calmed me down. Then she went up to them and said, HOW DARE YOU ATTACK A CHILD LIKE THAT! While she was yelling, pro-lifers came over to me to calm me down. My whole body was shaking. Our friend, Mrs. McKinney, took me, Jack, and Bella to a CVS that was nearby. We got water and chips and went back. I sat down on a bench when a man from the Charlotte Observer came over to me and started interviewing me. Once he was done, a man came over and gave us ice cream. While I was eating, the pro-abortionists left. Then we started to clean up.
On the way home I felt sorry that I yelled at those people. I told my mom, and she said, Do you know why you feel that way? Its because you have a heart. You have a conscience, and you know whats right and whats wrong. Those people attacked you like that because they dont have a heart.
I will never, ever forget what happened last night. I had a dream that night that they all converted to pro-life activists. I hope that dream becomes a reality.
Only respect for Jim’s rules prevent me from using language adequate enough to describe these demons from the foulest, blackest pits of hell itself...Now an eleven year-old girl KNOWS beyond the shadow of a doubt that such demons exist, and that they walk among us.
O’Reilly and Fox should be ashamed of themselves for giving this thing a platform to spread her satanic bile...shame, O’Reilly...shame.
Doesn’t look like the kid was really alone at any time. There were plenty of pro life adults there. Had anyone tried to physically assault the girl, they would have been very very sorry.
The girl also had doubtless been briefed on how ugly the “choice” people could talk.
What this did do was to provide an occasion to document for the world how ugly the “choice” crowd acts, that it would even flout a little girl. The little girl herself? She got called some bad names, and she knew to expect that.
They really have to kill any pity for the unborn child itself in order to be able to stomach what they are calling for.
Ah, that poor girl. God bless her and give her strength.
Zoe, you are pro-LIFE...they are pro-DEATH.
Battleground? Since when is putting flowers on the ground considered doing battle?
Even 11 year olds have the right to go peaceably about their business in a public place. If some psycho attacks them, how is that the fault of the parents? Children have been murdered at school. Are the parents who send their children to school negligent for doing so?
The only part I disagree with here is that the parents do not appear to have been armed. Perhaps they were. But no mention of it. Then again NC has some funky laws about carrying during a funeral or demonstration.
God bless and keep this young girl close to his heart!
Bitch’ll burn in Hell. I take no pleasure in saying it, either.
Wrong question. What kind of adult verbally attacks and assaults a child? Answer: The WORST kind of adult: a Democrat.
I'll provide the correct answer, but you'll first have to publicly admit you don't know the answer.
You know, one of the interesting things you get exposed to when you get involved in gun rights are the stories that you hear about why people carry. In most cases its not a philosophical issue. Its because something horrible or terrifying has happened to them or someone they care about. And what the victim did is never anything more offensive than walking down the street or going to their car or watching tv.
Point is that the most innocuous kinds of conduct can instigate violent and even homicidal responses. That’s just the way it is. There are evil people. The problem is not with the people taking peaceable action, its with those who choose to do evil. I do believe in being prepared, but there is no reason to allow the actions of a few psychos dictate how you peaceably exist.
Have you ever been to a Pro-Life rally?
My assumption is that you’re speaking in hyperbole. Such as VA is called a “battleground” state in the election.
Beyond that, I haven’t the foggiest idea why you’d call an 11 yr old laying flowers in the street a battle or battleground. No one is shooting, tanks are not rolling down the streets.
She looks a lot like she does like “Bush.”
I'll also answer your question directly. Some years ago before I retired as a lawyer, when my eldest two (both daughters) were 5 and 3 respectively, I brought them to a regular protest against a particularly nasty little abortion mill in Connecticut. I walked them up the sidewalk to the property line of the mill, knowing that this would draw the immediate attention of a thirtyish man who was then a biology instructor at Yale and a regular as a deathscort at the mill, the worst of numerous deathscorts who well knew who I was as a lawyer for the pro-lifers.
Just about in Mr. Deathscort's face, and holding my daughters by the hand, I told them to get a good look at this guy and his antics to see what our enemies are bound to become and as a lesson on what not to become. To my surprise, he did not try to punch me (I was hoping to sue him and the mill and open him up on discovery). I had plenty of backup to take care of the kids if he got out of hand. Many years later, all of my kids are quite pro-life. If anyone thought to instigate any "child endangerment" nonsense, including the Department of Children and Family Services, I would have owned Mr. Deathscort, and anyone else involved.
My youngest just started college and the elder two have graduated. Te eldest will soon be married and makes me look like a liberal.
And, yes, prayer in public places is generally constitutionally protected activity. So is speech. We just need fresh young aggressive lawyers to enforce such freedoms with relentless action.
The trade off is that WE have to put up with public prayer and public speech with which WE disagree, a price well worth paying. We do NOT need to grovel in fear before our barbarian enemies. BTW, the First Amendment was not needed to protect public recitations of Mary Had a Little Lamb although it does. It was meant also for sterner stuff.
As to your tagline, it is about time WE stop being nice, civilized, oh sooooo middle class respectable wimps and started to be aggressive and at least dangerous to the agendas of our enemies. In case you wonder, I am deadly serious.
How are things in Rio Linda or is that La Jolla?
Will she bow down and worship the anti Christ, or will she die for her lack of belief?
When I was an atheist I strongly believed that God didn’t exist, but I didn’t begrudge believers their pink pill of religion that seemed to give them some comfort. Why should I have begrudged them a fantasy, if it made them feel better, as strongly believing that God didn’t exist didn’t give me comfort, but only a feeling of hopeless emptiness. I was wedded to what I thought was truth, but I didn’t celebrate it, for there was absolutely nothing to celebrate, and certainly nothing to champion.
Hey Sunsara, it’s too bad your mother didn’t abort you.
