What a difference a day makes … twenty-four little hours … Why, just yesterday all was doom and gloom for Maryland’s Democratic governor, Martin O’Malley, who admitted to Bob Schieffer yesterday that he couldn’t say that people are better off now than four years ago, although he rushed to add, “but that’s not the question for this election”:
One day later — and presumably, one Cory Booker-esque call from Team Obama — suddenly the world looks a lot rosier to Governor O’Malley:
A day after saying, no, the country was not better off than it was four years ago, Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley reversed course on Monday and said, yes, indeed it was.
“We are clearly better of as a country because we’re now creating jobs rathare than losing them,” O’Malley, a Democrat, said on CNN’s Starting Point. “But we have not recovered all that we lost in the Bush recession. That’s why we need to continue to move forward.”
How dare he not memorize the official script before getting on the air.
He’s lucky the Chicago thugs didn’t use brass knuckles on him.
Didn’t take long to get O’Malley a friendly forum on CNN to promptly correct his “error.” You can count on CNN. (if you are a Democrat).

Yep, he and Cory Booker are going to be shunned by good Democrats.
Actually, events like these make me think more highly of Democrats such as Booker and O’Malley, in that, they aren’t just spouting a party line. Maybe they are actually telling us what they believe.
Or did tell us what they actually believe, until someone got to them privately and told them to get back on the plantation, or else..................

When 0’Malley took office there was a 2 bilion dollar surplus in the states treasury ,,, today Maryland is carrying a 40.7 billion debt ,,, that’s 7 thousand dollars for every man , woman and child in the state .
How’s that gonna look on a candidates resume ???

People are leaving the state in droves because of him and the stranglehold that his fellow tax and spenders have on the state. Maryland is a lost cause.
