I have a few questions for this racist loudmouth:

-Define “rich.”
-If someone doesn’t like being poor, what’s stopping them from being “rich?”

Yeah, the Great Society has worked so well to make inner cities better places; hasn't it Ms. hypen Perry.

We should do even more of that.

Ms. Harris-Perry is simply just another ignorant lib talking head who has absolutely no idea how wealth is created. To these people wealth just exists. Some greedy people got there before the poor people did, and took more than their fair share. If Harris-Perry took an econ class in college, it was undoubtedly a Marxist one. She’s just bone ignorant...like most libs.

There is a big leftist push on, thanks to the occupant of the White House, to turn this into some kind of socialist country. Ms. Harris-Perry is simply making her contribution.

The issue was one of entrepeneurs taking economic risk, the chance of losing money they already had, for the possibility of increasing their money.

And that is not the only risk they take. Entrepreneurs also take risks in assuming a great deal of legal liability from all the regulations concerning employment laws, Health and Safety requirements to complex tax and financial rules.

Since the at risk poor are committing crimes against each other, what about about her concern for the lack of morality and self control of these poor? If they can’t avoid unwanted pregnancy, and drugs, and at least finish high school, they shouldn’t even be allowed to vote. Dogs have better sense.

I live in a neighborhood where people are shot on my street corner.

I just heard this clip a few minutes ago on the local AM talk show. She sounded crazy. She thinks the shootings are bad now, wait until 0 bummer loses in Nov. Never trust a woman with a hyphenated last name.

She makes enough money to not live in a neighborhood where people regularly get shot. Why hasn’t she moved?

The funny thing is that many poor people seem to be obsessed with status.
Gotta have those Air Jordan shoes and the car with the 22” rims and gold trim.

Alot of successful folks I know live under the radar, in modest homes, they make their own meals.
No one ever got rich writing a lot of checks.

Also, I know many folks on limited incomes who are beyond generous but they are frugal as well.

There is nothing wrong with having a “safety net” for those who fall.

It’s the ones that willingly do a double-back gainer into the safety net, and then refuse to climb over the edge to solid ground...that are killing this country, and making the producers anxious to yank the net away.

This sad deluded loon doesn't live in poor neighborhood riddled with crime.

She's well paid by her employer. But she feels guilty about it, and has a professional as well as psychological need to see herself as a victim.

Hence her bizarre and overwrought claim that she shares the burdens of the poor - who are poor mostly because of their own pathological “lifestyle” choices - even though it's not actually true.

But for liberals it's more important to believe a self-serving lie that establishes their moral superiority than to inhabit the real world of causes and effects.
