Here's an update I just posted at my blog.

The ~~Ozymandias~~ Obama edifice has been restored and now stands in its full glory awaiting only the blessing of The Anointed One.

Myrtle Beach officials say the sculpture is an excellent way to get people to think about coming for a vacation.

Those who can afford vacations, perhaps. I wonder how many will kneel and ~~prey~~ pray.

Dozens of people stopped by, with many getting their photos taken. One of them was Nevada delegate Loretta Harper. "I was speechless. That's President Obama -- so cool. I tweeted it out right away," she said. Harper said she sees lots of sand around her home in Las Vegas, "but nothing like that good looking president."

Perhaps her reference to her speechlessness was less hyperbolic than her reference to our cool, good looking President.
