CarMax co-founder and former CEO Austin Ligon, who will be a featured speaker at the Democratic National Convention, says he and his company's 17,000 employees aren't responsible for his billion dollar company, the government is:
As President Obama has said, I didn't do it alone. I succeeded because we had a committed team of CarMax associates working round the clock to build our business. We found ready capital from healthy and flexible capital markets that allowed us to grow. We benefited from an effective national transportation infrastructure that let us move products from one market to another, and we had cooperation and assistance from federal, state, and local governments in providing clear rules of the road that let us plan and grow our business.

They are going to stick to this meme? Hahahahahahahahahaha! Excellent.
What a foolish “businessman”
Watch the value of his company drop like a rock after this
I just don’t understand business owners who associate their businesses with a political stand once side or the other. What is there to gain?
Another commie lib willing to fall on his sword his his emperor.
CarMax just became CarLeast.
Be pretty easy to mail a photo of an empty chair to this idiot.
wow, talk about a mind-numbed robot.
another company to boycott, yipee
And stupid remarks like Ligon’s are going to wind up destroying CarMax.
You know, Obama has one admirable quality.
He sticks to his guns.
The problem lies in what battles he chooses.
He’s 100% wrong on something. It’s going to seriously wound him, politically. And he doubles-down.
Wonder why he’s a “former” CEO?
Empty chair = Who Is John Galt!
Well, I paid taxes to build those roads. Can I stop by the Car-Max near my office on Tuesday and drive away in one of OUR cars? Since your business belongs to all of us, you shouldn’t have a problem with a little bit of “to each according to his needs.” Right?
Doubling down, as another put it. Doubling down on a bad meme. Way to go, rats!
Definitely a Cash 4 Clunkers beneficiary as the used car market was propped up. The Chicago Way works for a lot of people.
Add a couple of letters to CarMax and you’ve got Carl Marx.
Perhaps this is what this idiot was thinking of when he named his company.
Let government pick up the slack, Ligon.
did he get his obamaocare waiver yet?
You have to feel for his thousands of employees that just had their earning potential destroyed.
Let’s see what his stockholders think about his proclomation.
