I read somewhere that the Dems promise that the place will be packed.

Evidently they respond to some rumor that there’s problems getting attendees.

Romney said two things during his speech that gives me pause.

First, I know he was trying to take a swipe at this Democrat talking point that the pubs hate women, their so-called “war on wommins”.

Romney described his busy life earning a living for his family. He says it was tough but the real hard job, and MORE IMPORTANT job was being done by Ann, who held down the home fort and raised the kids as I suppose he refers.

That comment sort of puts the male breadwinner in second place. The notion was to not only forcefully deny any war on women, that in fact, we think women are MORE important than men.

That’s so not true. Although I know he meant well. But going out and earning dollars that will provide food and shelter is as important as keeping the home fires burning brightly. In the homo sapien earlier eras the men went out and caught a saber=toothed tigers for dinner, the fur was stripped for clothing, the meat cooked for food.

Point being it takes TWO parents to effectively raise children and I had a pause at Romney’s assertion that women are more important.

One time I had an argument with my husband, forget why. But in the midst of some rancor he said...:”I’m doing what I’m supposed to do...I’m PROVIDING”.

Which husband did and which HIS father did and folks, smile, even my son-in-law went out and got a job!

Heh.

Romney also said he would “repeal and REPLACE” Obamacare.

This ASSumes we even need a replacement for Obamacare and I’m not convinced we do.

However, in the spirit of improving our country, and if Romney shows decent leadership, I’m willing to have a national dialogue about it.

But I’m not done yet.....how about ole Jeb Bush?

I got so sick of seeing Jeb Bush last week I was about to spit.

He kept saying Americans need to revise their thinking on immigration.

He needs to go to hell.

All us boobs want out here in la-la land is a reasonable method for tracking immigration. Like all countries across the planet have for their borders and protecting borders is a number one job of the federal gubmint.

Back in the Reagan era we readily agreed to amnesty and a whole bunch of illegal aliens and their children were made legal.

They were then supposed to set up an immigration and not that we don’t have great technology nowadays to do this.

And NOW they want to mock us for being heathans and refusing to grant blanket amnesty again?

The last thing we need is a REPUBLICAN to lecture us for being....eh, normal, as we understand such as fences and locks out here in la-la land where we carry this country on our backs.

I urge all yon readers to not buy this politico mantra that we are bad, bad people because we don’t want to go all through that again, because it’s bankrupting our localities what with welfare and hospital ER rooms.

Ole Jeb Bush, Lord I’m glad you will never be President.

Cause you won’t.

Never.

Yeah we do. The replacement is the restoration of freemarket reforms.

That includes tort reform and buying across state lines...allowing insurance to exist to cover unexpected medical claims...not to be a prepaid-medical shopping plan.
