Good plan, Ex-Hip.....I'm in AZ. and have seen the state over-run with illegals, but some sort of work visa is needed, which would help lots in Texas too, as well as many other agriculture areas that desperately need seasonal help.

Why not make it a positive, a win-win for us, and a chance to help our neighbors to the south.

Mitt could organize a traveling migration in season to spots that need it. Registered and law-abiding "illegals" are welcome to work here temporarily, and could even perhaps enhance their immigration priority. I'm one in favor of the letter of the law, but I'd bend to something like the above.

Listen up!

What you’re doing, Chiller....what you’re doing is WHAT WE NEED TO DO!

Us peons can’t simply allow the political elite (what a once normal human being becomes after getting elected) to “fix” the immigration problem.

It behooves them to have illegals in droves so they can convince them to vote for them. Thus the political elite do not do our bidding.

we’ve got the Internet, Tweets, forums like this....we really need to have a national dialogue about this.

THEN we need for the political elite to take our ideas or WE VOTE THEM OUT!

It’s not easy to herd the Tea Party across the fruited plains but we’re out here, we marched on DC and elsewhere, we’re more involved, we are not fooled and we’re willing to do something about it!

They can mock us all they want, including the RINO pubs (remember when Jeb Bush told us to like Charlie Christ?), who reach across the aisle with manicured nails but rip off the head of their own base should we threaten their flimsy and acquired power.

I’m seeing Jefferson’s pendulum sway (the law of “countervaling forces”) and I’m determined to use my scribe skills to help it along.

with my 6 point plan you don’t have to bend the law. We have the laws now. The beaurocracy is so dysfunctional it doesn’t work. And that is romney’s forte, making a system work.

Yeah, throw the Mexicans the hell out!

Enact "Welfare to Work" on steroids, where food stamp, Section 8, medical welfare recipients can "give something back".

Issue a set number of temp work visas at our embassies overseas. After the program is up and running require every employer to check every employee for proper paperwork and fire those who don’t have proof of citizenship or the new visa. Require it or proof of citizenship to qualify for foodstamps, welfare, unemployment etc.
