I believe left myself an out, as I said, “for now.”

However, if I do not change my mind, I will not vote for either socialist, although, admittedly, one of them, at least, is a natural born citizen! :-)

Romney is not pro-abortion.

Romney still has the support of the National Right to Life Committee.

Obama is the most pro-abortion President in history.

I see you are determined to shill for Romney. Are you denying that in the past week in an interview Romney said he is in favor of abortion in cases of rape, incest, and the health, and the life of the mother?

“The health of the mother” is the all-purpose escape clause used for decades by the pro-aborts.

In my view, Romney is not pro-life, regardless of whose backing he may have.

Grow up.
It is Romney or Obama.
Obama must go.

All of these other issues can be fixed by taking the Party structure, at the State level, and by elected more conservatives to Congress.

No matter what, Obama must go.

Grow up.

///////////////////////

Let’s see, you have now told me to “Calm down,” and to “Grow up.”

You sound a bit petulant. (I am quite grown up, thank you.)

Regarding your Pollyanna-ish prediction about how these issues can be fixed by “taking the Party structure at the State level,” do you have any idea what you are talking about? Are you going to wave your wand and make it happen? In Texas, for example, conservatives have dominated at the state Party level for years. What Romney’s folks did by their Machiavellian maneuvering at the convention was crush the grassroots.

You can try to whitewash it all you want, but serious damage was done — far more damage than I hear you being willing to admit.

Apart from Tennessee (where you have to vote in SIX democrat primaries, not sure if Tennessee residency is required for all of those primaries) is there anything to prohibit conservative Tea Party "alternatives" running on the Democrat tickets in the primaries?

With the Democrat party being comprised primarily of Red Diaper Doper Baby NEW DEMOCRATS of the 1968 revolution that has taken over media, academia, and the DNC, they need to be moved to the RIGHT. The GOP has moved to the LEFT as more OLD style Democrats leave that party to become RINO Republicans.

Push back. Get the benefit of straight party voting.

Romney is not pro-abortion.

And you are deliberatly lying.

Romney, in the last month, has come out for Abortion in the following cases:

1. Rape
2. Incest
3. Life of the Mother
4. HEALTH OF THE MOTHER

In each of those situations, the baby is murdered. THAT IS ABORTION.

Romney is far, far better than Obama.

National Right to Life PAC has endorsed Romney.

Romney has promised to restrict government financing of abortion and has promised to support parental consent laws, informed consent laws, and late term abortion restrictions.

We have had 100% prolife Presidents in the past, and we have not been able to accomplish much more than the above.

Obama is the most radical proabortion President in history.

You support Obama.

YOU are PROABORTION!

Anyone who supports any 3rd Party attempt is PROABORTION.

ANYONE who allows the perfect to be the enemy of the good is PROABORTION!

Yes, it is an attempt to dump the Tea Party. If we had these rules in `980, Reagan never would have been prez. As for the gop, forget it! I’m writing in Palin & Sowell.

All they do is use us like toilet paper & then ignore us for the next 4 yrs. They can take a hike as far as I’m concerned.

Actually, no. It's intended to stop primary election fraud of the sort the Paulbots engaged in.

One can, I suppose, support election fraud if one wants to, but that preference generally can't be squared with being a conservative or, quite frankly, being honest; it does, however, fit quite nicely with being a democrat/liberal.

But then? They are much smarter than you.

If you cannot put enough people to take over the GOP from the “RINOs” you are never going to get enough people together to do the much harder work of forming a viable third party

You people are pathetic. All you want to do is sit on your asses and whine for someone to to hand you a “pure” political party.

Sorry children, NOTHING in life is ever 100% pure. Sitting on your ass whining because everything in politics is not ordered to fit your emotion base dogmas 100% is the behavior of petulant children, not adults.

So because Romney is only 75% on your side you people sit here and actively campaign for Obama who is 100% opposed to everything you claim to be for?

Please tell me you are not this politically stupid! Romney or Obama will be the next President. Spending all your time screaming in hysteria about Romney does one thing, Help O.

That may not be your intention, it is the result of your actions.

Frankly I think you sort of “conservative” are afraid to win anything politically. Winning might actually force you to be FOR something for once instead of just spending all your time sitting at your keyboards mindlessly bitching about everything.

The Republican convention’s main theme was the economy and getting people jobs. Can anyone explain to me why illegal immigration was not addressed? Afterall America now houses aprroximately 20-40 million illegal aliens of whom at least half have taken American jobs.

Your histrionics have become tiresome. While I would normally ignore posts such as yours perhaps I should take a moment and explain a couple of things.

First, you might not recall this when you signed up to post here, but FR is a conservative website, NOT a gop website. As such there are conservatives of all flavors posting here. To be sure there are plenty of republicans. But there are also Libertarians, and members of other political parties such as the Constitution Party or Falcon party. And even a handful of democrats. And then there are numerous posters such as myself who are currently unaffiliated. The point being that support of the gop or any of its candidates is not a prerequisite for posting here. If you find that difficult to tolerate then I suggest you find another website.

Second, you’re being extremely presumptuous in assuming that you know much of anything about the people you’re talking about and what motivates us, in this case to oppose the candidacy of willard. Each person has their own reasons for opposing willard. Mine are very simple: he isn’t a conservative. But it goes even further than that. I can contemplate the possibility of voting for a non conservative so long as they are pro gun and anti abortion. Unfortunately willard doesn’t even meet those benchmarks. So as far as I’m concerned, there are other candidates running on second party tickets who are conservatives and are pro gun and anti abortion. So I’ll vote for one and urge others to do likewise. Unwilling to compromise? I would have supported virtually any of the candidates in the gop primaries except willard or huntsman. Some may have made me cringe, but I would have done it.

What we’re talking about with willard is not a “compromise” in any sense of the word. A compromise is where I give up something to get something that’s important to me in exchange. What I get with willard is nothing. That isn’t a “compromise” but a capitulation. willards way or the highway.

I’ll take the highway. And the chips can fall where they may.

Last Bush and the GOP Congress Federal Deficit 2006, $160 billion

Last Obama and the Dem Congress Federal Deficit 2010, $1.6 Trillion

Even a brain dead Obama propaganda bot such as yourself should be able to do that much math.

Romney or Obama will be the next President.

You have choose, apparently out of nothing more then childish spite that your candidate of choice did not win the GOP nomination, to act as a full time Obama propaganda bot.

If you choose to be that politically stupid, expect to be treated as an idiot. If you object to being treated like an idiot, stop acting like one.
